Carnation Breakfast Essentials Golden Grahams Review

Carnation Breakfast Essentials Golden Grahams

We went into this one thinking this is a unique flavor you don’t see everywhere, and it should appeal to fans of Golden Grahams or Graham crackers and milk. Flavors like Froot Loops are more common these days, but when is the last time you saw a Golden Grahams flavored item?

Some of us had very high hopes for Carnation Breakfast Essentials Golden Grahams.

The actual taste proved to be a bit disappointing though.

Where’s the Golden Grahams? It doesn’t taste like Golden Grahams and milk. In fact, it hardly resembles the flavor of Golden Grahams at all. “Sweet cereal milk” is the name we decided would be a more accurate description of this flavor.

Overall, Carnation Breakfast Essentials Golden Grahams variety is decent, especially for a drink containing 10 grams of protein, added vitamins and minerals, and only 15 grams of sugar. However, there are other flavors of these breakfast shakes that we prefer over generic sweet cereal milk.

Summary and Rating

We were excited to try something Golden Grahams flavored, but this doesn’t have the flavor we were looking for.

Pros

  • Decent sweet milk taste
  • 21 vitamins and minerals
  • 10 grams of protein

Carnation Breakfast Essentials Frosted Flakes Review

Carnation Breakfast Essentials Frosted Flakes

After trying the Golden Grahams flavor, we were not sure what to expect from this one, but we love Frosted Flakes, so we went for it.

This one did not disappoint! Carnation Breakfast Essentials Frosted Flakes tastes exactly like the milk left over from a bowl of Frosted Flakes 🙂

You can’t really beat that for a quick breakfast, especially with the 21 vitamins and minerals and 10 grams of protein that Carnation Breakfast Essentials provides.

Overall, this is a solid flavor for Carnation Breakfast Essentials. The only thing some of our team wished for was a little more of that yummy Frosted Flakes flavor. We will definitely drink this one again in the future.

If you like Frosted Flakes milk, this could be your new favorite breakfast on the run!

Summary and Rating

The Food Rankers crew preferred the Frosted Flakes variety, because it actually tastes like its namesake cereal.

Pros

  • Tastes like the milk at the end of a bowl of Frosted Flakes
  • 21 vitamins and minerals
  • 10 grams of protein

Cons

  • Could use a bit more Frosted Flakes flavor

Rating: 7.8/10 (Very Good)

Out of the flavors we have tried, Carnation Breakfast Essentials Frosted Flakes is the variety that we unanimously recommend purchasing if you are looking to combine the flavor of your favorite cereals with a nutritional shake.
