The spice level in Jalapeño Popper Goldfish definitely shows up and packs some nice heat. They had not only a decent amount of jalapeño heat, but actual jalapeño flavor as well. To the Food Rankers review team, it tasted like having “Goldfish crackers with jalapeño slices” or Goldfish crackers dipped in jalapeño pepper juice. One nice thing about the heat is that it comes in a bit strong but doesn’t build much, so you can easily eat several without an overwhelming burn sneaking up on you.
You can even see the flavor on every single one if you look closely!
Most of us quite enjoy the flavor notes of jalapeño and cheese, a winning combination in our book. However, the spice might be a little overpowering for heat-sensitive palates. Jalapeño Popper Goldfish crackers combine the familiar crunchy texture and cheesy taste of original Goldfish crackers with the flavor of jalapeño to make them even better.
