From new flavors of Doritos and Mountain Dew to Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Ice Cream, this has been an interesting week! We are here to tell you about the top ten interesting food and drink items we came across this week.
Here they are, in no particular order 🙂
There’s also a short summary video at the end for those who prefer videos!
Chewy Chips Ahoy! Hershey’s Fudge Filled Cookies
These chewy Chips Ahoy! Hershey’s Fudge Filled Cookies are a limited edition treat that pairs Hershey’s chocolate fudge filling with the chewy Chips Ahoy Cookies that you know and love.
The package suggests trying them with ice cream, and we plan to do that as soon as we get our hands on these chocolate filled cookies.
Twisted Lime Doritos
Twisted Lime Doritos are back, but only at Sam’s Club.
These Doritos bring a bit of a fiery kick with a hint of lime.
If you are a fan of spicy things or a little lime with your salsa, look for Twisted Lime Doritos the next time you are at Sam’s Club.
Limited-Time Mountain Dew Baja Flavors
Mountain Dew brought Baja Blast back to store shelves recently for a limited time, along with two new Baja flavors. The new Mountain Dew Baja flavors are Baja Flash and Baja Punch.
Baja Flash is a yellow tropical Mountain Dew with pineapple and coconut flavors, while Baja Punch is orange and really tastes like tropical punch with hints of orange, pineapple, and cherry.
We are loving Mountain Dew’s 100 days of Baja!
Blue Bell Milk & Cookies Ice Cream
Blue Bell has brought back their Milk & Cookies variety!
It is a delicious mix of vanilla ice cream and chocolate chip cookie pieces that is currently available for purchase in a half-gallon size.
Ice cream, anyone?
Doritos Tangy Ranch and Tangy Pickle
Doritos has been busy lately! This week they announced the release of a new flavor, Tangy Ranch, and the return of another, Tangy Pickle.
The pickle flavored Doritos first hit store shelves for a limited release last year, and they are back for a limited time in select stores, while supplies last.
In addition, Doritos Tangy Ranch is available at stores nationwide for the summer. We aren’t sure how Tangy Ranch is different from Cool Ranch, but we would love to find out.
Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Spice Milano Cookies
Pepperidge Farm has released a fall favorite a little early this year.
Pumpkin Spice Milano cookies have appeared on shelves every fall since 2014 and for good reason. Pumpkin Spice fans and Milano fans love them!
These are the same crispy cookies and chocolate that makes a classic Milano, but with a twist. There are pumpkin spice notes in the chocolate filling. Yum!
A&W Brings Back Their Spicy Papa Burger
The spicy version of the Papa Burger is back for a limited time at A&W as part of a new combo.
This burger, which is basically their Papa Burger spiced up with some jalapeños, will come with a side of onion rings, Spicy Papa dipping sauce, and their signature root beer. Fans of a little heat will love this one!
Arby’s Southwest Chicken Avocado Wrap
This wrap is stuffed with ingredients and promises to bring the heat. It features chicken that has been slow-roasted with a spicy citrus seasoning. The spices and flavors in the meat are complimented by the spicy avocado spread and a chile lime ranch sauce. Add in lettuce, red onions, and tomato, then wrap it all in a tortilla, and you have a filling wrap that sounds like it will pack a lot of flavor.
We want to try this one!
Burger King Garlic & Bacon King
The new Garlic & Bacon King from Burger King is sure to please garlic fans. It consists of two quarter-pound beef patties, two slices of American cheese, bacon, garlic pieces, and mayo on a sesame seed bun.
The garlic pieces are a new ingredient at Burger King that we can’t wait to find out more about!
Marble Slab Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Ice Cream And Shake
Flamin’ Hot Cheetos fans have reason to rejoice!
For a limited time, Marble Slab Creamery and Cheetos have gotten together to give us new Marble Slab Cheetos Flamin’ Hot ice cream and shake. These offerings feature Marble Slab’s sweet cream base with actual Flamin’ Hot Cheetos crushed and mixed throughout.
This mash-up is available through September 30, 2021 and promises to bring a combination sweet and heat that will “turn your world upside down.”
Which items from this list do you want to try? Please share your opinion in the comments!
Thank you for bringing us all these new and limited edition snacks. I am definitely intrigued about the Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Ice Cream. I can’t wait to try it. I will share with you my honest opinion once I have. I am also a fan of Chips Ahoy and Hershey. So having them combined is a snack I won’t miss.
You’re welcome from all of us, and thank you, Ann, for commenting! We look forward to hearing back from you on that Flamin’ Hot Ice Cream. I agree about the Chips Ahoy and Hershey. 😉
These actually sound like they could be quite tasty even though at first glance you think they might sound quite crazy. I like the sound of the Mountain Dew flavours. But do you know if the Mountain dew drinks have caffiene likke energy drinks? Or worse still, Taurine? I’ve nevr tried them.
We tried the Mountain Dew Baja Punch and posted a review. It is really good!
Mountain Dew has around the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee, less than an energy drink. It also does not have taurine like traditional energy drinks. Hope that helps, and thanks for commenting.
