This Starburst Airs Gummies review features a new kind of gummy with a unique texture. As the name suggests they have an airy center, which sets them apart from a traditional gummy candy. They come in two varieties: original and sour tropical.

The Original variety consists of the four Starburst flavors that Americans that know and love: cherry, strawberry, lemon and orange. Upon opening the bag, the delicious smell Starburst provides a sense of familiarity and comfort. Then, things start to get a little strange.
This is an odd visual that none of us were expecting. They are quite soft, puffy, and squishy!Â
The texture is definitely unique, like a cross between marshmallows, gummies, and bubblegum. One reviewer suggested that these might prove to be more successful if they changed the name to ‘Starburst Marshmallows’. They might be on to something with that comment.
Starburst certainly gets points for being innovative. They really have developed something new and different with a great Starburst flavor. The main issue is that it might be a little too innovative for the masses. Most people who buy gummies, us included, enjoy the traditional gummy texture. Starburst Airs Gummies are more like marshmallows than gummy, and we aren’t sure how to feel about that.Â
Summary And Review
Starburst Airs Gummies have great flavor but an odd texture that most of us are not crazy about. Perhaps, we would enjoy them more if they were marketed differently. For us, the idea of gummy having a soft, marshmallow texture affected our enjoyment, but you might feel differently. It doesn’t hurt to try them if you like Starburst!
