We weren’t sure what to expect from this one, since the other version was not as cheesy as most of us thought it would be. First bites proved pleasantly surprising! The Taco Bell Black Bean Cantina Crispy Melt Taco is every bit as messy and cheesy as the description suggests.

None of us missed the meat in this taco at all. The black beans are filling and taste good on their own. When you add the sour cream and all that cheese you have all the delicious makings for the perfect vegetarian taco filling. Yum!
It could be that Taco Bell put more cheese in these compared to the beef ones we tried a couple weeks ago, but it sure seems like this black bean version is more melty and cheesier, which we love. There is definitely a lot of cheese in every gooey, crispy bite. What could be better?
