They boast having more toppings and 2x the mix-ins in these, and we can attest to the fact that they are loaded with mix-ins.
Blue Bunny Strawberry Shortcake Load’d Cones Review
Blue Bunny says that these cones are: “strawberry flavored frozen dairy dessert with shortcake pieces and strawberry swirls topped with shortcake pieces and whipped cream flavored topping in a sugar cone.”
They are not kidding about all those toppings and mix-ins.
There is a distinct sweet strawberry fragrance that drew us in as soon as we opened the package. These look so good that we all instinctively dove right in and forgot to take pictures.
What can I say? We love ice cream!
There is a lot of strawberry flavor in this and it complements the bits of shortcake well. Textures abound here, from crunchy to smooth and creamy, and the cones are stuffed with goodness from top to bottom. We finally found a cone that has ice cream all the way to the tip.
A lot was going on in every bite, but in a good way.
One reviewer initially thought that all those mix-ins might be too much, but it was just right.
