Del Monte Fruit Infusions Review

The new Del Monte Fruit Infusions are fruit cups that consist of real fruit chucks in juice with added antioxidants and healthy ingredients. They provide unque and different flavors with added benefits from ingredients like aloe, ginger, and elderberry. These come in 4 delicious-sounding flavors:

  • Stay Well – Grapefruit in pomegranate flavored juice
  • Glow On – Peaches in passion fruit guava flavored juice
  • Gut Love – Pineapple in pineapple ginger flavored juice
  • Boost Me – Mangos and pineapple in mango and dragon fruit flavored juice

We were able to find 3 out of the 4 varieties available, and we are here to share what we think of Del Monte Fruit Infusions. If we find the Stay Well grapefruit one soon, then we will update our review.

Del Monte Fruit Infusions Review

We will start with the first one that we sampled, the Boost Me variety.

Del Monte Fruit Infusions Boost Me

Boost Me (Mango and Pineapple)

This one contains mango chunks and pineapple tidbits in fruit juice flavored with mango and dragon fruit, infused with antioxidants, coffee extract and vitamin C.

One person, whose favorite fruit is mango, really liked this one but said the mango chunks did not taste as sweet and flavorful as fresh mango. The rest of us agree that mango isn’t prominent here, especially when another member of our crew mistook them for peaches until they happened to reread the label halfway through eating. However, the fruit still tastes good and the tropical flavored juice is one of the best. You can even taste hints of dragon fruit!

We would have given it a higher rating if not for the slight issues with the mango.

Del Monte Fruit Infusions Gut Love

Gut Love (Pineapple)

The Gut Love variety is pineapple in pineapple ginger flavored juice infused with ingredients for a healthy gut, such as turmeric, prebiotics, and black pepper. Pineapple and ginger are good for your digestive system, as are the ingredients infused into the juice. It’s a win-win!

We expected this variety to taste like a pleasant mix of pineapple and ginger and were slightly disappointed to barely detect any hint of ginger flavor until we gulped down the juice. Even then, it isn’t very obvious at all. The pineapple and its juice is sweet and flavorful, so we will get this one again. We just wish for a bit more ginger flavor with that delicious pineapple.

Del Monte Fruit Infusions Glow On

Glow On (Peaches)

This is the final variety that we tried, and it is surpringly delicious! Glow On has peach chunks and aloe bits in a passionfruit guava flavored juice infused with natural ingredients, including coconut water, aloe, and elderberry extract. The presence of actual bits of aloe surprised more than one person, but they worked and paired well with the juice.

Speaking of the passionfruit guava juice, it is phenomenal. If you love tropical flavors, especially passionfruit, you will want to drink that juice all day. We would buy it in the juice aisle if Del Monte ever decides to bottle it. Yes, it’s that good!

This is our favorite of the three we tried, and we wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try! All of the ingredients taste great and the peach chunks and aloe are even better in that sweet tropical juice. It’s both healthy and a treat 🙂

So, we like Del Monte Fruit Infusions and look forward to trying the variety that we missed and any that they add in the future. Some may not have been quite as good as we thought they would be, but they were all still tasty.

  1. Your fruit cups are absolutely delicious…..love putting them in kids lunches…one Major problem, that makes me second guess buying them…. Opening them is a total disaster. Especially for children. I wish you would find a better way of packaging. The minute you pop that top, juice splashes everywhere
