Our UK crew has stumbled across this delicious sounding chocolate bar. Anyone who has tried a Galaxy chocolate bar will tell you that it’s delicious. Well, now they may have made it even better by combining the silky smooth texture of Galaxy chocolate with an orange flavor. Our UK reviewers were very excited upon first discovering the New Galaxy Smooth Orange chocolate bar at Sainsbury’s. Expectations were high, and they couldn’t wait to get home and try it. The rest of us here in the U.S. feel a little jealous, because we can’t just run to the store and buy one of these.

Galaxy Smooth Orange Review
On opening the wrapper, you are greeted by a mild sweet citrusy smell, almost floral. It looks like your typical chocolate bar.
In regards to the flavor, it did indeed deliver that promised chocolate orange flavor. It was a slightly milder orange taste than anticipated though, which might actually be a good thing as sometimes orange flavored chocolate can at times be a little too rich and overpowering. Thankfully, that was not the case with Galaxy’s orange chocolate.
This particular chocolate bar also seems to be slightly sweeter than regular Galaxy chocolate, which can be considered a positive or negative trait, depending on your personal taste. However, this bar comes in a 110g size, and one of our reviewers says it too sweet to eat in large quantities and fresh chocolate is best.
They did enjoy the smooth, creamy texture that is reminiscent of Galaxy’s Smooth Milk chocolate. Galaxy really knows how to do chocolate well.

Our UK reviewers agreed they would gladly eat this chocolate bar anytime, just perhaps not a whole bar at one sitting.
