There’s a new Fall drink at Starbucks that just might be better than the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte. We are talking about the Apple Crisp Macchiato, or Iced Apple Crisp Macchiato if you live in a hot climate like most of us here at Food Rankers do.

Starbucks Iced Apple Crisp Macchiato Review

This new fall creation is described as, “The flavors of a gooey apple pie swirl into espresso, milk and ice. Topped with a caramelized spiced apple drizzle.” Spiced apples, apple pie swirl, and espresso? It sounds like a dream if you like coffee with dessert.

It also looks dream worthy. Here’s a look at what ours looked like:

Beautiful! With the delicious scent of coffee and spiced apples, we were even more intrigued. The milk tastes like apple pie filling and blends with the espresso perfectly when mixed together a bit. It seriously tastes like a spiced apple dessert with coffee! Why have apple pie and coffee separately when you can get one of these?

One reviewer decided that the Iced Apple Crisp Macchiato is her new favorite Starbucks drink, and the rest of us are inclined to agree. The only thing that we would add is a little more of the caramelized spiced apple drizzle. It was phenomenal!

We all agree that this new, limited-time offering is surprisingly good. It even usurped the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte for at least one of our Food Rankers, and that’s an achievement worth celebrating with more apple crisp goodness from Starbucks 😀
