Birds Eye Skillets Sesame Broccoli Review

Birds Eye Skillets Sesame Broccoli is a part of a line of new seasoned vegetables that promise to bring you convenient and delicious vegetable sides in minutes. It is simply florets of broccoli in a sesame sauce, and comes frozen with the sauce already on it.

Our Food Rankers panel were very excited to taste this. If you agree that this sounds interesting, keep reading to find out how our Birds Eye Skillets Sesame Broccoli turned out and what we thought of it!

Birds Eye Skillets Sesame Broccoli Review

First of all, we were really surprised about how quick and easy it was to prepare the Birds Eye Skillets Sesame Broccoli. All you have to is empty the package contents into a skillet, cover, and cook on a medium-high heat for around 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. It really is that simple to get a delicious broccoli side dish.

As the food thaws out and cooks, a nice, fragrant Asian-style sauce is created. The sauce tastes surprisingly delicious with notes of sesame oil, honey, soy sauce, garlic and just a hint of spice. We served ours alongside orange chicken and everyone loved it!

It honestly smells and tastes so good that we completely forgot to snap a picture! We will be sure to add one here next time we purchase it 🙂

Our only complaint is that the package doesn’t make very much. Once it is cooked there is barely enough broccoli for two side dish portions. There is usually more in comparable-sized bags of frozen vegetables, and we really wanted more of this delicious sesame broccoli.
