To accomplish that, this Blue Bell flavor contains cinnamon ice cream with cake-like pastry pieces, a bright green cream cheese swirl, and festively purple candy sprinkles.

We do get notes of cinnamon, cream cheese frosting, and sprinkles. The occasional pastry piece does provide a little cake flavor and texture, yet the flavor is predominantly a mixture of cinnamon and cream cheese. One reviewer hit the nail on the head when they described it as “much more like cinnamon roll ice cream than king cake ice cream”.

My Husband and I love the Mardi Gras ice cream but we’re extremely disappointed that for some reason the company has started selling it in certain spots. Unfortunately it’s not sold anywhere around us that we can find. While we love Blue Bell ice cream the disappointment is almost enough for me to find a different brand.
