Taco Bell Bacon Club Chalupa Review

The chalupa is made up of grilled chicken, bacon, a three cheese blend, lettuce, tomato, and an avocado ranch sauce. All of these are served inside a warm chalupa shell.

Taco Bell Chicken Club Chalupa

Our team unanimously enjoyed the flavor combination of the filling. Everything played a part and worked well together. The chicken and bacon were nicely cooked, and the bacon added a little extra texture. We found the cheese blend added the classic Taco Bell vibe and went well with the salad.

However, the star of the show was undoubtedly the avocado ranch sauce, which was not only refreshing but an unexpectedly delicious element.

Our enjoyment was not limited to the filling. The shell was nicely cooked and provided a good vessel to hold the ingredients. It was not at all greasy. We were pleased to receive such a generously filled chalupa, and it certainly made for a filling meal, as you can see in the image below.

Having so much filling did have a tiny disadvantage though, it made the Taco Bell Club Chalupa very messy to eat. One of our panel remarked that you could not put it down without a lot of the filling falling out. It was so messy, we suggest not eating this in a car.

Our crew is disappointed that this chalupa is only back for a limited time, and we wish it could become a regular menu item at Taco Bell.

The Taco Bell Bacon Club Chalupa is available for $4.99, or it can be purchased as part of a combo with 2 crunchy tacos and a large drink for $8.99. Prices may vary by location.
