McDonald’s Triple Cheeseburger (Review)

The McDonald’s Triple Cheeseburger is something that Food Rankers were keen to taste. In our minds, how can you improve on a double cheeseburger? The answer may be to make it a triple. Keep reading to find out what we think of it!

McDonald’s Triple Cheeseburger Review

This burger contains three 100% beef patties, along with cheese, onions, pickles, mustard, and ketchup. All of this is packed into a McDonald’s bun. The extra patty made the McDonald’s Triple Cheeseburger a more filling meal than the McDouble. This might satisfy a carnivorous appetite. Perhaps this is the answer for those who find a double cheeseburger still leaving them hungry.

All of the ingredients played a part, from the melty cheese slices to the unique flavor of their combination of pickles, finely chopped onions, mustard, and ketchup. If you love that signature Mcdonald’s burger flavor, you will like the Triple Cheeseburger.

McDonald's Triple Cheeseburger

The burgers we received were very densely packed. The actual patties were very thin, and it was difficult to tell there was more than one without taking our burgers apart to look closer, let alone three. Our burgers were sloppily put together, therefore not the most appetizing cheeseburger we have seen. Perhaps that may have only been a one-off, but we can only comment on what we received. Our McDonald’s Triple Cheeseburgers were very messy to eat. The cheese was hanging out of the side of mine as you can see in the picture above.

The Food Rankers team agreed that this cheeseburger was nothing special. It is just a McDonald’s burger with an extra patty. An extra additional patty also means extra calories, so this is probably best avoided by people who are eating healthily. This burger has 578 calories in total.

Summary and Rating

Our team enjoyed the flavors of the McDonald’s Triple Cheeseburger, and it is more filling than a McDouble. The burgers we received did look sloppy, making them messy to eat and the thin patties made some hard to distinguish. They also added nothing extra to the standard McDonald’s flavors.

The new Mcdonalds triple burger is okay but not brilliant.

Pros

  • Filling
  • Every ingredient plays a part

Cons

  • Thin patties
  • Looks sloppy
  • Messy to eat
  • Generic taste
  • High in calories

This is only available for a limited time. The burger costs around $3.80 (prices may vary).
