We found 10 new and interesting things in food this week to share with you!
Here they are, in no particular order.
1. Lay’s Doritos, Funyuns, and Cheetos Mash-Ups
Lay’s just released chips that are flavored like other iconic chips and snacks!
The three varieties are: Doritos Cool Ranch flavored, Wavy Funyuns Onion flavored, and Cheetos Cheese Flavored. They will be available for a limited time in regular 7.5-7.75 oz bags and 2.6 oz snack bags.
This news has us wondering what a Doritos flavored Lay’s potato chip will taste like. We will be sure to let you know when we find out!
2. Natural Bliss Pumpkin Spice Flavored Oat Milk Creamer and Natural Bliss Cinnamon Swirl Latte
CoffeeMate released two new seasonal Natural Bliss flavors for the fall.
The Pumpkin Spice Flavored Oat Milk Creamer features a non-dairy oat milk base, baked pumpkin flavor, and warm pumpkin spice notes. This one sounds perfect for all the pumpkin spice lovers out there looking for a non-dairy alternative to use in their drinks!
New Natural Bliss Cinnamon Swirl Latte is their regular dairy based with cinnamon and sugar. We love the sound of that!
These will be available in stores starting August 2021 for the fall and winter seasons.
3. Chocolate Dunkaroos
Chocolate Dunkaroos are finally being spotted on store shalves!
This popular 90s snack has recently made a comeback with Dunkaroos Vanilla Cookies With Vanilla Frosting, so it’s about time the chocolate frosting variety joined in the fun. These mini cookies with chocolate frosting for dipping and dunking are sure to please at any age.
You can get Dunkaroos With Chocolate frosting at grocery stores nationwide for under $2.
4. Dole Fruitify
Dole Fruitify juice drinks consist of tropical juice with added nutrition and benefits. These currenty come in three varieties:
- Glow – Pineapple and Mango Juice With Turmeric
- Energize – Pineapple Juice With Green Tea Extract
- Replenish – Pineapple Juice and Coconut Water
We will have to check these out, especially Replenish. Pineapple juice with coconut water sounds great right now!

5. Snickers Almond Brownie
Puting a brownie in a Snickers worked so well with the original version that they are coming out with a Snickers Almond Brownie.
We love almonds, Snickers, and brownies, so we can’t wait to get our hands on one of these!

6. Reese’s Extreme Blizzard
The Reese’s Extreme Blizzard is back at Dairy Queen for the month of August!
If you love chocolate and peanut butter, you have to try this one. It has Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Reese’s Pieces candy, and chocolate topping mixed in a vanilla ice cream base.
That’s a lot of chocolate and peanut butter!
7. Sonic Banana Pudding Shake
Sonic is adding a Banana Pudding Shake to the menu for a limited time!
This delicious-looking shake will include Sonic’s vanilla ice cream mixed with banana pudding flavor, fresh banana, and Nilla Wafers and topped with whipped cream, more Nilla Wafer pieces, and a cherry. We can’t wait to try this one!
The Banana Pudding Shake will be available at Sonic from August 2 to August 29, 2021, so be sure to get one while you can.
8. Popeyes Chicken Nuggets
Popeyes released their version of chicken nuggets this week, and they are amazing!
Seriously, these crispy nuggets really bring that signature Popeyes flavor and satisfying crunch.
You can order them today in various sizes or as part of an 8- or 12-piece meal that comes with a side, biscuit, and drink.
9. Burger King Brownie Batter Shake and Cheesy Tots
Burger King added two limited-time offerings to their menu this week, a new Brownie Batter Shake and their popular Cheesy Tots.
The Brownie Batter Shake is vanilla soft serve and rich brownie batter blended together and topped with whipped cream.
Cheesy Tots are a Burger King favorite for some of us at Food Rankers. Crispy, fried hashbowns with melted cheese inside make for a great snack or breakfast side. Get them while you can!
10. Jack In The Box Spicy Tiny Tacos
Jack In The Box has announced that new Spicy Tiny Tacos are being added to the menu on August 9th. Tiny tacos will be given a spicy kick and a new red shell.
The original tiny tacos have proven to be a popular menu item, so it was only a matter of time before new varieties popped up. We wonder if they will have Loaded Spicy Tiny Tacos too? That would be good! Update: They do have them 😀
